Cornell’s Institute for Genomic Diversity and Computational Biology Service Unit are jointly offering a two-day workshop on genotyping-by-sequencing (GBS), a new method for generating large numbers of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) for use in genetic analyses. The workshop is a mix of lectures and (optional) hands-on computer practicals.
Our next workshop has been scheduled for June 17-18, 2013. It is full but if you can register here you will be put on the wait list to be notified first when the next one is scheduled.
There is no fee, you need only be responsible for all your travel costs. Note the hotel information on the registration page.
If the workshop is already full, registering is still a good idea as it will put you on the waiting list to be notified first when the next one is scheduled. We give people on the waiting list a few days to register before we open it up to the public.
The registration page also has a tentative agenda and information on hotel accommodations, for those coming from afar. You can also download presentation materials from previous workshops.
You can watch videos of all the February workshop presentations here or look at a few photos. You can still get the slides from the workshop by following the registration link below.
