IGD does not give financial support for childcare, you will need to cover this expense. More information: Day Care & Child Development Council Housing can be difficult to find and expensive depending on the time of year and length of your visit. We have an IGD apartment that may be available. Some other options are listed here. For short-term visits, summer (June-August) is a much less expensive time to visit as many sublets are available. We will work with you to find the best option for your visit. The weather in Ithaca is highly variable. Summers are warm, but winters require a warm coat, hat, gloves, and boots.
