Newfield High School science classes visit IGD
March 31 and April 1, 2003

The students, and teacher Nicole Kirschten, extracted DNA from bananas, saw the robotic liquid handling system in action, toured the IGD and the Tanksley labs, learned about genetic variation, and talked about research using DNA techniques and the careers available in this field.
